Privacy Notice

In accordance with new Government guidelines on data usage and storage namely the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am writing to inform you about how I hold and process information about you.

I collect, store and process information about you to enable me to run my psychotherapy practice and to provide an ethical service to you. This information can include your address and contact details as well as other personal information. I collect this information under Legitimate Interests for the purposes of providing healthcare according to GDPR regulations.

Any information that I collect about you is stored behind lock and key and/or in a passcode protected electronic device.

If you’ve provided details of your GP, I will discuss it with you first before I contact your GP should the need arise.

I may use this information to track the progress of our work together or as the basis for discussion in supervision. Your contact details may also be passed on to my appointed Therapeutic Executor so that you are informed should anything prevent me from attending a session and from communicating with you directly in instances such as illness or death.
